Rex has helped launch and operate more startups than many of us will meet in several lifetimes. He has spent 18 years in IT of which 12 years as CEO, followed by a decade in cleantech. 

Rex’s first software startup serviced corporate clients like Body Shop, Honda, Shell and Lloyds of London. In Silicon Valley, he was CEO of a ground-breaking online financial and e-commerce startup, then executive director of the Cleantech Open, the world’s largest accelerator for clean-technology startups. He now serves as a senior trainer for the Global Cleantech Innovation Programme in partnership with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization and is consulting to technology startups.

Rex holds an M.A. from Oxford University.
